River Raisin Ragtime Revue is presenting our 13th annual Ragtime Extravaganza, a community event that brings together local, regional, and national talent. The Extravaganza is presented free on the Adrian PlaneWave Instruments arts and science campus. This year’s Extravaganza is part of the Adrian Bicentennial Celebration. The day-long event features live music, a children’s magic show, art vendors and exhibitors, an instrument petting zoo, historical exhibits, a vintage car show, science tours, children’s games, food vendors, and a grand finale fireworks display. Jerron Paxton, a Smithsonian Folkways artist from New York City, will perform both a solo set and join the River Raisin Ragtime Revue orchestra. The City of Adrian will provide free shuttle service running all day from downtown Adrian to the PlaneWave campus.
