Who May Host a Program?

Any public library system or public school library in the state of Michigan is eligible to apply to host a six-week Prime Time series. A library system or public school library must commit to hosting a minimum of three Prime Time series over a three-year period. The second and third series may occur in the same library or at another library within the same system.

Prime Time Grant Funds

New Prime Time Sites –up to $6,500 to cover the majority of program expense for the implementation of new program sites for a three-year program commitment.

Return Sites- up to $3,000 for a six-week program for sites that have currently implemented Prime Time.


The application period for Fall 2019 sites is currently open and applications will be accepted until May 1, 2019.
