Michigan Humanities is pleased to announce the Fall 2021 tour dates for 2021-22 Great Michigan Read (GMR) author, Mary Doria Russell. Russell’s book, The Women of the Copper Country, was announced as the 2021-22 Great Michigan Read selection in March.
The tour will begin with a GMR kickoff event on October 7 at Michigan Humanities’ office in Okemos, MI. From there, Mary Doria Russell will head to East Lansing Public Library the evening of October 7, Montrose Jennings Library on October 9, Hamburg Township Library on October 11, Watervliet District Library on October 13, and Dearborn Public Library on October 15. Russell will return to Michigan in Spring of 2022 to finish her Great Michigan Read tour.
