Become a 2019-20
Great Michigan Read Partner
Schools, libraries, independent book clubs, colleges, universities, arts and cultural institutions, and a range of other nonprofits are invited to become Great Michigan Read partners.
Registering as a Great Michigan Read partner can be completed using these steps:
- Create a new user account on the Michigan Humanities grant and program portal, located here. If you already have a username and password, sign in.
- Next, visit the Great Michigan Read Partner Registration Form and fill out the required details.
- You will receive an automated “registration received” email after you have submitted the form.
- Michigan Humanities staff will follow up with you via email after reviewing the submitted details, and you will receive more information about the Great Michigan Read partnership as well as a customizable press release template.
Registration is open now and will continue throughout 2019-20. Materials will be sent to registered partners on a rolling basis. In addition to free books, Great Michigan Read partners also receive supplementary readers’ guides, teachers’ guides, bookmarks, and other materials.
Great Michigan Read programming began in September, 2019 and will conclude in early 2021 (extended from fall, 2020, due to COVID-19 rescheduling).
