Paradise Lost: John Martin’s Sublime Universe

Complete set of 24 prints illustrating Milton’s “Paradise Lost” by the 19th-century British printmaker, John Martin. His series of original mezzotints illustrate scenes from the book, published between 1825–1827. Depictions include Paradise, Heaven, Hell, and Chaos with sublime use of space and light. Exhibition includes labels and press information. Brochures available. Approximately 90 running feet. Security and environmental controls required.
