Dusty Fiddles: Angie Watt & Carrie Reitz

When you set oral history against the backdrop of toe-tapping traditional folk music you get Dusty Fiddles. For over 20 years they have been using their voices and various stringed instruments—some familiar and some not so familiar—to share songs and stories . . . to “pass on their passions.” With an emphasis on pioneering, lumbering, and the Great Depression in Michigan’s history, they endeavor to entertain and educate young and old alike.
