Fish Sandwich Cookery

Carolyn strives to maintain the character and quality of the fish sandwich that is “so large it takes two hands to hold one.” The sandwich has been featured on 20/20 and The Today Show. Carolyn is often called upon to serve this local specialty at occasions of visiting state and regional dignitaries. It is still the centerpiece of the annual Bay Port Fish Sandwich Festival, held the first weekend of August, when visitors from miles around return for the Engelhard family treat.
