STORYTELLER
:: Historical Reenactments

This is a dramatization of the Pulitzer Prize winning journalist’s World War II dispatches. The program is ideal for high school or college students studying a WWII curriculum, historical groups, and veteran’s associations. Pyle’s articles were America’s window to the war. Based on columns published from 1940–1945 in over 380 newspapers, the presentation is a sometimes hard hitting, humorous, and poignant look at how American servicemen fought, lived, died, and survived the war to bring freedom to the world.
