Matthew Ardizzone, Classical Guitar

Matthew Ardizzone’s performances have earned him prizes in the Rantucci and Stotsenberg International Guitar Competitions. Two examples of his programs are Mazurkas for Guitar (based on his award-winning CD) and The Soul of the Guitar (music of Milan, Bach, and Spanish favorites). With his “. . . incredible tone, marvelous technical facility, and poetic phrasing” (New York City Classical Guitar Society), one presenter described his audience as “wildly enthusiastic!” (Firebrand Musical Arts Series, Port Clinton, Ohio).
