Vincent York’s Jazzistry

“. . . the most culturally sensitive and inclusive experience.” Jazzistry is a musical, theatrical journey spanning 400 years of history with a swinging soundtrack. Led by Vincent York, Jazzistry’s six-member jazz band demonstrates the evolution of jazz through the decades as the by-product of America’s multicultural interconnectedness. A multimedia history lesson and an engaging model for art-centered, thematic instruction across disciplines, Jazzistry is also an ideal multi-generational performance. Jazzistry is suitable for school, university, corporate, and community audiences.
