Marc & Dede Alderman: Percussion Performances & Facilitated Drum Circles

Take an interactive musical trip around the world. This exciting percussion duo explains and performs Irish folk music, West African drumming, South Indian classical music, American jazz classics, and dynamic original compositions. Both hold college degrees in music as percussion majors, have studied ethnic drumming with traditional masters, and have led hundreds of drum circles throughout Michigan. In performances, instrumentation consists of drum set, vibraphone, voice, kalimba, flute, and various hand drums. Their performances/workshops are fun, educational, and appropriate for all ages.
