The Dodworth Saxhorn Band

As American’s premier 19th-century brass band, the Dodworth Saxhorn Band (DSB) is committed to bringing America’s musical past to life. The DSB is a faithful re-creation of the mid-19th century community brass bands which entertained citizens of Michigan at concerts, parades, and public gatherings including social events, political rallies, and military balls. The DSB presents historical, musical, educational, audience-centered concerts of the 19th century. The band is also available for Victorian Balls with costumed dance instructors provided, concerts in the park, Civil War re-enactments, and short parades.
