The 5th Michigan Regiment Band is an authentic historical re-creation of a typical Civil War Regiment “field” Band consisting of musicians, color guard, and support personnel. The band performs at re-enactments, historical events, parades, and school programs. The band’s repertoire of pre-1865 compositions is performed on antique and replica saxhorns and the wood rope tension drums. Attire is reproduction of clothing worn during the Civil War period. Performances include narration describing the music, instruments, attire, flags, and customs of the era. Availability Fees Contact |
