The Peter Sparling Dance Company

Powerful, eloquent, and playful choreography by Peter Sparling, veteran of the Martha Graham Dance Company, incorporates classical and contemporary music, poetry, and video imagery. This company of extraordinary professionals is touring Peninsula for 2006–2009, a work which celebrates Michigan’s vast and varied landscapes, from Detroit to Copper Harbor, and other original dances from the repertoire. Since 1993, Peter Sparling Dance Company has toured the Midwest with modern dance performances and educational community residencies.
