Detroit Dance Collective

Detroit Dance Collective (DDC), founded in 1980, is Michigan’s leading contemporary dance company. DDC’s visually striking repertoire features choreography by artistic director Barbara Selinger, revered for creating spectacular multimedia dances. DDC dancers are gifted, versatile performers, and master teachers. The company is recognized for producing superb concerts and lecture-demonstrations and specializes in designing imaginative residencies in schools and communities. DDC tours extensively throughout Michigan and nationally, embracing and inspiring audiences of all ages.
