The Directory of Humanities Professionals includes persons with formal academic affiliation, independent scholars, and professionals who employ interdisciplinary approaches to the humanities as well as persons who may not be professionals with degrees but who nevertheless possess extensive backgrounds in the humanities such as traditional culture practitioners.
