Please join the Michigan Humanities Council as we get a taste of the 1920s with National Book Award Winner Kevin Boyle – Author of the 2011-12 Great Michigan Read Arc of Justice: A Saga of Race, Civil Rights and Murder in the Jazz Age.

Parking
Public Parking is available at the Library. 1-hour of free validated parking in the gated lot next to the Main Library. Parking rates are $1.10 per half hour during the week, free on weekends and for Library events. Map: click here.
Please note that Fountain Street is a one-way street, only allowing eastbound traffic (coming from Division Ave.). Limited handicapped parking is available at the GRCC ramp to the northeast of Fountain Street Church, or by permit at the lot across from the church entrance.
Author’s Night
The Author’s Night discussion will take place at the Grand Rapids Public Library, a one-block walk from Fountain Street Church. The discussion will begin at 7:00 p.m.
This Author’s Night event is open to the public and hosted locally by the Grand Rapids Public Library in partnership with the Michigan Humanities Council.

Parking
Secure parking is available behind the museum at the Cultural Center parking lot. Enter from John R Street, a one-way street heading south. PLEASE NOTE: metered parking on Warren and Farnsworth is now being enforced until 10 pm Monday through Saturday. There is free parking on Brush Street, and the Cultural Center parking lot is $5 before 4 pm and $3 afterwards. Map: click here.
