Past experience: I assisted Deleta College in the planning and implementation of the Criminal Justice Program for Corrections Officers after the riots ocurred at Jacksom prison. I received the Lynn Heatly award from the college for same. I particicpated in the Flint Safe Neighborhoods Project with former Prosecutor Art Busch and Ass't. Chief Brenda Williams to combat gun violence. The program is still in effect at the Circuit Court Probation Dept., where I am currently employed. I have been an Ethics presenter for the Women in Corrections and Juvenile Justice. I participated in the Color Line Project in Flint, Michigan. I assisted in the development of the Ethnic Food Court for the Bay County Fourth of July Festival. I am currently involved with Safe Families in Flint Michigan and am concerned with the rise in female violence which may be relative to "battering". I am involved with the YMCA in their attempts to develop and look at and analyze fatality cases as a result of domestic violence.
