| Past
experience: I have researched, developed, and implemented over one hundred different Maritime education opportunities for students in grades pre k-college level. I also train and coordinate the educational staff at the Museum and aboard the tall ship Friends Good Will. With 11 years of teaching experience, I have successfully made learning relevant in the lives of my students, and sparked their desire to learn more. My hands on approach to teaching fores intellectual and emotional connections with students that experience educational tours at the Michigan Maritime Museum. |
