Past experience: I am a tribal elder and storyteller. I just had a book published entitled "Civilizing the Indigenous." The book concerns our history and my great, great, grandfather, Ignatius Petoskey, for whom the City of Petoskey, Michigan was named. I am also a Native Artisan and have displayed my art on the ARTRAIN when it came to Petoskey, Michigan. I travel and do historical presentations regarding the boarding schools, orphanages, and foster care system as we knew them. I have presented to both Native and non-Native audiences. I play the Native flute, hand drum and the guitar. I am also recognized as a storyteller.

Suggestions for public humanities projects: After looking over the site and reviewing some of the projects, which are all laudible, I did not see much in line with what I do. I thought I would make contact to see if I could be of service in any future events relative to what I do.
