Past experience: Produced the following documentaries: Close to Home: The Tammy Boccomino Story (about a young suburban family struggling with AIDS; The Last Hit (about youth violence); both of which won awards. Have written, produced, and directed numberous other documentaries. Before starting HKO Media, I was Director of Production at WTVS in Detroit. Also, served as a board member of the consortium of public television stations. Above all, I consider myself an educator. I have taught screenwriting and documentary filmmaking at Wayne State's College of Fine, Preforming and Communication Arts and the College of Education.
