experience: I served on a public school board for 12 years and
then served 6 years in the MI State Legislature on the Appropriations
Committee and on the Approp subcommittees for higher education and
Consumer Industry Services (which includes oversight of MACAA).

Council of Greater Grand Rapids, and the Van Andel Museum.
