Past experience: I have presented and planned numerous events in the Ann Arbor area, many of which I also performed in. The events mainly have focussed on African drumming and dancing, folklore and history. I am constantly writing proposals for independent grant sources, public and private schools and universities offering my and my performance ensemble's skills for education. Every thing from large scale performance events to multiple-week residency programs.

Suggestions for public humanities projects: I am very interested in starting Hand drumming (African) ensembles in Michigan and regional schools. Offering drum making programs, instructional courses, as well as teacher training sessions and classes. Audiences are mostly high school aged students, middle school as well, with great success in the "alternative" school realm.
