Past experience: Planned and developed the Internet 2 Jazz Band demo at Oakland University on Oct.18, 2002. This was not funded by the Council. Participated and assisted in the development of the St.Clair Channel Keepers.

 
Suggestions for public humanities projects: An International Kite Festival between Port Huron and Sarnia/Point Edward. This would involve K-12 schools and Community Colleges in design of kites by teams and displays of oral histories that the teams will "fly". The physics of flight will also be honored with prizes for most creative and unusual kite and for altitude champions.
