Past experience: Project director of NEH project: "Greeks in Grand Rapids"; developed oral history project at GRCC; developed and presented 5 lectures for Great Decision series at World Affairs Council of Western Michigan; was Assistant Historian for U.S. Pacific Fleet 1966-67, evaluating effectiveness of Vietnam effort using many oral interviews. Lectures for civic groups on veriety of topics. Taught history at Grand Rapids Community College for 30 years. Have also taught graduate courses in oceanography for Naval Reserve Officers School. Taught Strategy and Policy courses for Navy War College.
