Past experience: I consulted briefly with the Northern Indiana Historical Society in preparation for their WWII Homefronts Exhibition. Ph.D. American Studies 1997 University of Michigan: Exam Fields in U.S. Social History and Race, Gender and Culture; Coursework and readings in Native American history, African American history, women's history, U.S. social movements, women's studies, ethnic studies, popular culture and media. Teaching experience (at college level). Several publications. After the publication of my first book I gave a series of talks to nonacadmic audiences including a book talk at the St. Joseph County Public Library (2002) and a meeting with the Niles District Library Book Reading Group (2005).
