Building Collective Narratives: Teaching Michigan Stories -- (2004)

Building Collective Narratives: Teaching Michigan Stories will be a series of day-long symposiums planned and facilitated by humanities scholars, the Freedoom Trail Education Committee and Michigan Historical Center Education staff. Attendees will engage in guided discussion to select Underground Railroad materials that best support the Michigan school curriculum at their various grade leves and brainstorm ideas for curricular materials and lessons.
