Imagine living in a community without creativity, shared values, thoughtful conversation and a reason
to celebrate.

Learn moreFor more than 35 years, the Michigan Humanities Council has been committed to ensuring every community has access to high-quality cultural learning experiences.
The Council strives to inspire families and neighbors to share their stories, talents and traditions, and work together to better understand and appreciate each other.

Over the past few years, community needs have escalated, demanding that the Michigan Humanities Council significantly expand its capacity toaddress the decline in family literacy and funding for school and community cultural programs, as well as the need for more intensive technical assistance. That means doubling the reach of our family reading and matching grants programs each year for the next five years…Yes, the need is that great!

Please help us Meet the Need for 2012 by making a generous end-of the year, tax-deductible donation today!
