| Directions to Michigan Humanities Council Take I-496 to downtown Lansing. Take Pennsylvania Road exit to bottom of hill. Turn north onto Pennsylvania Ave. Drive north on Pennsylvania to the second stoplight (first stoplight is Kalamazoo, second stoplight is Michigan Ave.). Turn left (west) onto Michigan Ave. Cross the railroad tracks. You will see Clara’s Restaurant (old train depot) on the right. Turn onto Pere Marquette, the road immediately following the parking lot to Clara’s Restaurant. Michigan Humanities Council offices are on the third floor, directly across from Clara’s Restaurant.
